After 2 Hours with Assassin’s Creed Shadows – My First Impressions
As a longtime fan of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, I was excited to dive into Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and after playing for two hours, I can confidently say that this game has left a strong first impression. From the moment I stepped into feudal Japan, I was hooked.
Gameplay – Smooth and Satisfying
The gameplay in Assassin’s Creed Shadows feels incredibly solid. The movement, combat, and stealth mechanics are all well-refined, offering a seamless experience that keeps me engaged. Whether I’m sneaking through enemy territories as the shinobi or engaging in direct combat with the samurai, each action feels purposeful and rewarding. The dual-protagonist system adds variety, making each encounter feel fresh and exciting.
Graphics – A Visual Masterpiece
One of the first things that stood out to me was the stunning visuals. The world is beautifully crafted, with incredible attention to detail in the landscapes, architecture, and character designs. The lighting, weather effects, and fluid animations make every scene feel alive. The feudal Japan setting is breathtaking, and I often find myself stopping just to admire the scenery.
Overall Enjoyment – Immersive and Addictive
From what I’ve played so far, I’m thoroughly enjoying Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The story is intriguing, the world is immersive, and the gameplay is fun and engaging. If the rest of the game maintains this level of quality, this could easily be one of the best Assassin’s Creed entries in years.
Controversy? No Problem!
There has been some controversy surrounding Assassin’s Creed Shadows, but it didn’t sway me from wanting to play it. I believe a game should be judged by its own merits, and from what I’ve experienced so far, it absolutely delivers. With reports of over 2 million players diving in, it’s clear that many others agree. The numbers don’t lie—this game is making an impact and proving itself to be a worthy addition to the franchise.
I’ll definitely be playing more and sharing further thoughts as I progress. Have you started Assassin’s Creed Shadows yet? Let me know what you think!
